Pope Leo XIV

We continue to celebrate the new leader of the Catholic Church!

Born Robert Francis Prevost on Sept. 14, 1955, in Chicago, he is the first pope born in the USA and the first from the Order of Saint Augustine.

He spent over a decade in Peru. Ordained a Bishop in 2015 and made Cardinal by Pope Francis in 2023.

He is known for promoting social justice and engagement.
