Becoming Catholic

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is a formation program for adults, and for children over the age of seven years, to be initiated into the faith of the Roman Catholic Church. Sacramental initiation into the faith of the Catholic Church is centered on Jesus Christ in the Holy Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and the Holy Eucharist. Participants are formed with teachings and small group discussion around the primary topics central to our walk with God in this life. Sacramental initiation is a life process.

If you seek, ask to contact Deacon Carl Cramer at St. Edward Parish, our RCIA Coordinator. Knock and Jesus will open the door. All you have to do is walk through.

We will meet in the main sanctuary beginning on Thursday, September 19 from 7:00pm for orientation, completion of applications and our first lesson. Sessions will continue every Thursday with breaks for holidays, through the end of Eastertide.
