Spiritual Foundation
" By the grace God gave me, I succeeded as an architect and laid the
foundations, on which someone else is doing the building. Everyone doing
the building must work carefully. For the foundation no one can lay any
other than the one which already has been laid, that is Jesus Christ." 1Cor.
3 (10-11).
In the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, this is who we are:
- A community accepting and living under the Lordship
of Jesus.
- A community accepting and living
Baptism in-the-Spirit and manifesting the Charisms of the Spirit.
- An evangelistic magnet community sharing the faith by
lifestyle and witness. Especially through a network of parish cell
groups.
- An Eucharistic community constantly renewing our
covenant in vibrant liturgy and adoration of the blessed sacrament.
- A Stewardship/Tithing community of time, talent and
treasure.
- A praying community conscious of our motto: "Not by
might, not by power but by my spirit, says the Lord...." Zech. 4(6).
- A biblical community constantly nourished by the
word.
- A community that knows and cherishes our catholic
heritage.
- An outreach community sensitive to the poor and needy
in the household of the faith and beyond.
- A community devoted to Mary, our spiritual mother,
always conscious of our part in the communion of Saints.
- A community dedicated to the restoration of
traditional family values.
- Everything we build in the future should reflect our
spiritual foundation.
