Life in The Spirit

Jesus promised to send His Holy Spirit to all who asked and Jesus always keeps His promises. Over 800 of your fellow parishioners have had the wonderful experience of being Baptized in the Holy Spirit. This expression comes straight out of the New Testament: “John baptized with water, but within a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.” -Acts 1:5 All over the world today Christians are experiencing God in a new and powerful way. Descriptions vary but many say their Baptism in the Holy Spirit brought profound peace or was like meeting Jesus face to face or like being plunged in God’s love.

The promise that was made is for you and your children, and for all those who are far away, for all those whom the Lord our God will call to himself. -Acts 2:39
